The selection process

We work closely with employers to ensure they find the ideal candidate.

Marketing

The prestigious universities and the British Council publicise the Programme on their website. Candidates with appropriate work experience, skills and English language apply for the Programme.

Applications

Candidates submit a competency-based application form, copies of their academic transcripts.

Screening

Candidates are then screened against the competency-based criteria and indicators identified on the application form, and successful candidates are short-listed for face-to-face interview.

Interviews

GTI Recruiting Solutions’ trained recruitment specialists then travel to India and interview all candidates in English. Each interview is designed to identify candidates' capability levels against standard competencies and employers’ requirements.

Offers

The employer is then invited to interview the short-listed candidates (by telephone, online or by video-conference) and makes the final decision. GTI Recruiting Solutions then liaises with employers and graduates to finalise placements and ensure that contracts are agreed prior to the graduates leaving India.

Travel and visas

All travel and visa arrangements are managed by GTI Recruiting Solutions’ in-house team.

Arrival and inductions

There are up to two candidate intakes per year. A UK university will deliver a week orientation programme to help them prepare for working life in the UK.
